Nunzio TartagliaNunzio Tartaglia leads the Insurance Practice Group. He graduated from the University of Melbourne with a Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor of Laws. Having commenced his legal career with Nowicki Carbone as an Articled Clerk he quickly developed a true passion for litigation. During his time at Nowicki Carbone Nunzio worked in the Damages Practice Group, gaining extensive experience in WorkCover, TAC and Public Liability litigation claims. Quite youthful in his legal career Nunzio turned his legal focus to Commercial and Insurance Litigation, where he worked for a mid tier Commercial Firm. It was during this time that Nunzio was able to truly appreciate litigation from both plaintiff and defendant sides. |

John KarantzisJohn Karantzis leads the WorkCover Compensation Practice Group. He has been accredited as a Specialist in Personal Injury Law by the Law Institute of Victoria and has expertise in WorkCover litigation including Serious Injury Applications and Common Law Damages claims for pain and suffering and economic loss. John is an experienced trial lawyer with expertise in investigating and prosecuting complex claims through negotiated settlement and trial. John has a long standing reputation for providing compassionate no-nonsense advice and obtaining outstanding results for victims of work place accidents. |

Don MaffiaDon Maffia leads the Transport Accident Practice Group. He graduated from Monash University with a Bachelor of Laws and went on to gain experience in personal injuries matters, practicing throughout regional and metropolitan Victoria. Don’s main area of practice for the last 10 years has been in transport accident claims. He has expertise in litigating and fighting for clients including seeking Common Law Damages claims, Serious Injury Applications and Dependency Claims pursuant to the Wrongs Act. Don also has expertise in disputes against the TAC in relation to payments of benefits such as payment of medical expenses, wages and lump sum impairment benefits. More... |
